Money and beliefs

How do beliefs shape our financial decisions?

Money is numbers. But our decisions about money are rarely purely mathematical.

Two people can earn exactly the same, have similar commitments, and react completely differently to: asking for a raise, raising the price of their own service, spending money on themselves, saving, investing, accepting help.

So before we start talking about "financial blocks", I would rather look at something more concrete. What actually happens in you when money is involved?

A belief does not always sound like a belief

We rarely walk around consciously repeating "I do not deserve money". It can look much more subtle than that.

You give a client your price and immediately justify it. You get a raise and instead of being pleased you start thinking that now you have to work twice as hard. You buy something for yourself and feel guilty for two days. You have savings, but the very thought of investing them brings enormous anxiety.

None of that has to mean a "block". It is worth checking, though, what meaning you give money.

Money can mean far more than money

Safety. Independence. Status. Control. Risk. Freedom. Conflict. Shame. Belonging.

If money was a constant source of tension in your family, you may react to it differently from someone for whom it was a neutral part of everyday life. If success was criticised, financial visibility may bring discomfort. If from childhood you heard that "decent people do not think about money", earning may unconsciously conflict with how you want to think about yourself.

We do not need any theory about "the energy of money" for this. It is enough to look carefully at your own reactions.

"I do not deserve it" can have many faces

Sometimes I see it in constantly lowering a price. Sometimes in giving more than was agreed. Sometimes in finding it hard to issue an invoice without discomfort. Sometimes in the need to prove that every single unit of money was truly hard-earned.

Then a more interesting question than "how do I attract more money?" is: "what does it mean to me to receive a lot without paying for it with exhaustion?" That can open a completely different conversation.

Will hypnosis make you earn more?

I do not make that promise. Hypnosis will not change the market, will not find clients for you and will not make business decisions.

What it can be is a space to work with the emotions and beliefs that appear around specific decisions. For example with fear of visibility. Guilt when raising a price. Fear of losing security. The need to prove your worth by working beyond your strength.

That is no longer "manifesting money". It is looking at the way you function around money.

Start with observation

Next time you make a financial decision, before you ask "can I afford this?" or "is this worth it?", notice one more thing: what do I feel when I am about to spend, receive, keep or ask for money?

Sometimes part of the answer is right there.

If you recognise these reactions in yourself, we can look at them together. Book an intake call - 30 minutes, online, free of charge.
